Ixia provides test systems and service verification platforms for wireless and wired infrastructures and services. Ixia's test solutions are used to verify that converged IP networks operate reliably under load and are secure from threats. Ixia's key customers include manufacturers of network equipment such as Cisco and Alcatel-Lucent, service providers such as NTT and Deutsche Telekom, and many enterprises and government agencies.

HetNets introduce enormous system complexity, with UE's (smartphones) shifting between Macrocells and Small Cells using 3G, LTE and Wi-Fi radio technologies. IXIA products are used by network operators and vendors to validate their systems before deployment and upgrade. New software releases, new vendor products, features and SON algorithms can be emulated and thoroughly debugged before going live. IXIA products support 3G, LTE and Carrier Wi-Fi technologies.

Ixia's comprehensive products and services test, assess, and optimize key technology initiatives:

  • Network performance, compliance, and security
  • Visibility into applications and services that accelerates troubleshooting and enhances monitoring performance
  • Securing mission-critical networks and services against attack
  • Cloud /virtualization and data center initiatives
