Accelleran is a Belgian based small cell company headquarted in Geel, near Antwerp and focussed on the TD-LTE market. The management team have extensive experience of mass market telecom product design and development. Their approach has been to drive down the cost to enable mass market take-up while using mission critical design methodology (MISRA) to ensure very high quality.
Their platform independent LTE eNodeB software has been ported to several popular small cell chipsets and supports both low power indoor and higher power outdoor applications.
There are two hardware platforms, all sharing the same feature set:
- E101 single-carrier local area. Indoor compact medium RF power for business use. Up to 20MHz aggregated bandwidth. Also applicable for rural/outdoor use.
- E401 multi-carrier local area. Support up to 4 carriers and up to 8x8 MIMO. Multi-Carrier including Carrier Aggregation or Multi-Band/Multi-Sector operation.
Live 3.5GHz service was demonstrated at Mobile World Congress 2016 with Euronics (who own/operate the spectrum in Spain) and Deltenna (who provide the hardware platform). A member of the CBRS Alliance, the company announced a dedicated US CBRS radio variant at Mobile World Congress 2017.
