CWiND and Red-Banana Femtocell Training Red Banana is a worldwide telecom technology training provider owned and run by Neil Wiffen, who has many years of expertise in telecoms training to his credit. The company offers a range of technical telecoms training courses which are delivered both as public courses and in-house. Events are delivered globally and include both scheduled and customised programs.

Red Banana run a series of 3G Technical Seminars at various locations globally.

The training program includes optional days on underlying technologies, such as UMTS, SIGTRAN, SS7 etc. Specific femtocell training seminars are oriented towards their integration and deployment.

In addition, Red Banana have been working closely with the Centre for Wireless Network Design (CWiND) at the University of Bedfordshire, UK to offer Femtocell Integration and Deployment training.

The course content is predominantly based on 3G UMTS mobile technology (W-CDMA/HSPA/LTE) and also covers CDMA and WiMAX.
