Pirelli Broadband Solutions developed an Integrated Access Gateway which included a femtocell module. The division was sold to ADB (Advanced Digital Broadband), a Swiss public company in November 2010. Read more about femtocell activities from ADB here

Probably better known for its Automotive tyres, Pirelli is a diverse business and includes a division specialising in home broadband access products, known as Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) in the trade. The division was successful in IPTV set top boxes, such as the “AliceBox” sold by Alice in France.
